Verloren Bekisting is a collective built on experimentation and exchange between makers, materials, and context. Based in Belgium and rooted in architecture and design, their practice explores the shifting meaning of materials, questioning when something becomes waste and when it regains value. Usually starting from materials gathered on-site, Verloren Bekisting’s work unfolds through making: objects, furniture, scenography, stage design, and architecture. Collaboration and hands-on experimentation shape every project, using material-driven processes to explore alternative ways of building and working together.
